UK IRT and IMC Rating

If you are thinking of buying RANT because you are about to start a course to gain a UK IRT or IMC Rating, then the following publications will be useful to you (click the buttons to find the documents):

The UK CAA Standards Document 1.

This goes through the format of the initial IR test and lists the standards expected. This is the August 2023 edition.

The UK CAA Standards Document 25.

This goes through the format of the IMC/IR(R) Rating initial and revalidation tests and lists the standards expected. This is the August 2023 edition.

Instrument Rating Comments.

This is an updated compilation of points that have come up during initial IRTs over the years written by Steve Oddy which were also published in Flight Training News a few years ago. Complying with all the points mentioned won't guarentee a 'pass' but it should make a 'fail' less likely.
